#Channels are the newest way to market your jobs to relevant Talent.
So first things first; what exactly are #channels?
#Channels are lists of jobs and companies that are grouped together based on commonalities. We call this a curated feed. (official lingo )
There are three primary channel types:
- Topic channel: a curated feed based on a topic, for e.g. sector, location, characteristics
- Group channel: a curated feed of companies, for e.g. a partner channel.
- Individual channel: a curated feed of jobs for one company.
Where are #channels displayed?
#Channels are a featured tab on our homepage. They have their own fully searchable landing page and are also displayed on our app and across key partner sites. Visit the #channels page.
What is the purpose of #channels?
#Channels have been created to make job discovery easier, more interactive and extra engaging for Talent. Talent can follow #channels to stay informed about opportunities that are relevant and interesting to them.
How do Talent stay updated?
When a new job or Company is added to the #Channel that Talent are following we'll let them know via email.
How to use #channels to your advantage?
For Companies, #channels are all about relevant visibility for your jobs. The best advice is to not be everywhere all at once. Think about how you want your Company to be positioned and how you want Talent to find you.
For example, if creativity is strategically important to your company and you want to attract the most creative Talent then #CreativeJobs is for you. If creating greater gender parody in your teams is important to you then add your job to #Girlcrew and gain access to a community of professional women.

Consult with your account manager to get to grips with the range of #channels on offer, they're on hand to support you and help you figure out where you'd be best placed.
How to stand out
#Channels mean that your jobs will be placed side by side with other similar jobs and Companies. Make sure your company Channel and job posts are erupting with your employer brand. Show off everything that makes your Company a great place to work and ensure your competitors don't set off into the sunset with the cream of the crop.
Finally, get excited. This is a gamechanger.
